Hi! I’m Mrs. Leonardo! I currently teach 6th grade English Language Arts in Redwood City. Prior to  teaching 6th grade, I taught 2nd and 7th grades. Before I was a teacher, I was a social worker.

I’m a tried and true Californian! I grew up in Central California, but I am VERY happy to call the Bay Area my home.

My favorite snack: I wish this wasn’t my favorite snack, but it is. I really, really, REALLY like Hot Chee*tos. I’ve been snacking on them since I was in 4th grade. I know they are NOT good for my body, but I can’t quit them.

I’ve traveled to Honduras, Belize, Chicago, Oregon, Washington, Washington, D.C., New Orleans, Açores Islands (my husband is Portuguese!), Fiji, Mexico, Georgia, New York City, England, France, Japan, Jamaica, and many other places. I hope to add some more places to my travel list ASAP!

My favorite meal is two cheese enchiladas with rice and beans.

You wouldn’t believe this, but I never missed a day of school from kindergarten through 12th grades!

Four summers ago I learned how to swim!
